Tan Sri Dato¡¯ Dr. Lin See-Yan was appointed a Director in 2003. Tan Sri is currently an independent strategic and financial consultant. Prior to 1998, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Bank Group and for 14 years previously, Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia). Tan Sri is currently a member of: the Prime Minister¡¯s Economic Council Working Group; Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia and Governor of the Asian Institute of Management in Manila as well as Trustee, Monash University Sunway Campus Malaysia. Tan Sri sits on the Boards of a number of publicly listed and private companies in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong, and is also Chairman Emeritus of Harvard University¡¯s Graduate School Alumni Association Council in Cambridge (USA) and Regional Director for Asia, Harvard Alumni Association. He is President of the Harvard Club of Malaysia, and Professor of Economics (Adjunct) at Universiti Utara Malaysia and Professor (Adjunct) of Business & International Finance at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Tan Sri is a British chartered scientist & chartered statistician. He holds 3 post-graduate degrees from Harvard University (including a Ph.D in Economics) where he was a Mason Fellow and Ford Scholar. Tan Sri is an Eisenhower Fellow and Fellow of the IMF Institute in Washington D.C., the Royal Statistical Society in London, the Institute of Bankers Malaysia, the Malaysia Insurance Institute, the Malaysian Institute of Management, and the Malaysia Economic Association. He is also a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies in Malaysia.
